New England Eye Commonwealth is the new clinical flagship of The New England College of Optometry, providing comprehensive eye care services for children and adults and one of the largest selections of eyeglass frames in Greater Boston.

In one convenient location near Kenmore Square, you can now get a thorough vision exam, a new prescription for your eyeglasses, be fitted for contact lenses, and receive specialized eye care services, including low vision and rehabilitative care, and cornea care.

Our team of optometrists, including nationally-recognized authorities in such areas as pediatric care, low vision, and contact lenses, work alongside optometry students in providing you with a comprehensive eye exam utilizing state-of-the-art technology.

An ophthalmologist is available on-site, by appointment, for more advanced care, rehabilitative care, and evaluations.

If you are a member of Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Harvard Pilgrim Health Care, Tufts Health Plan, Neighborhood Health Plan, Mass Health, Medicare and most other insurance plans, you can be seen by our optometrists at no additional cost. We accept most insurance plans.
